Allied Health will hold a review in April, and the reviewers are already in place. The next review will be in 2003.
Potential reviewers for subsequent reviews should fax a CV and the completed checklist to me (attachment below). The purpose of this step is to determine eligibility as a reviewer. I will submit the paperwork to the Peer Review office.
We are required to mix the panels based on gender, ethnicity, discipline, etc. Please provide this information on the checklist.
Reviewers will receive: honorarium, travel, lodging, and per diem.
There is a precedent for the Health Education discipline having previously received Allied Health grant awards.
A sample video is available to observe a Peer Review. This video presents the collaborative model for peer review. BHPr has an additional new review protocol, the triad system. Thus, this video will have some changes at a later date. However, for purposes of this exercise the process is the same, despite the fact that the Division of Medicine is represented, see http://www.conference-cast.com/hrsa/BHPR/.

GRANTS references, in the public domain, to familiarize you with the grants process follow (workforce profiles requested by HPN). Also at a later date on HRSA's website, I recommend checking the HRSA Preview for due dates of new grants.
