Health Professions Network 2004 Fall Conference

Registration is now open for the Health Professions Network 2004 Fall Conference, September 30th-October 3rd in Salt Lake City, Utah!

This is an important meeting for representatives from all of the allied health professional organizations, as we will review current projects and identify future goals and initiatives.

Some Topics to be Discussed at this Conference:

  • The Standard EHR - Changes for Information Management and Allied Health
  • Physician Shortages in the 21st Century
  • A Health Care Workforce for the 21st Century
  • Information on Applying for a Federal Allied Health Grant
  • Emergency Preparedness
  • Recruitment & Preparation: NCHSTE & Partners

There will also be a two-hour panel discussion with invited representatives from Federal organizations such as:

How to Make Your Travel Arrangements:
Our sponsor, the Salt Lake Convention & Visitors Bureau, has partnered with Delta Air Lines to provide discounted airfare for all attendees - $275 roundtrip, plus all applicable taxes. They will be making the flight arrangements directly through their offices. Because The Grand America Hotel will be hosting the HPN meeting, complimentary hotel accommodations will be provided. They can accommodate early and/or late departures in the event that attendees would like to arrive a day or two early or stay a few more days longer. Complete the form and mail it along with the registration fee ($75.00) to Society of Nuclear Medicine, Attn: Jennifer Morse, 1850 Samuel Morse Drive, Reston, VA 20190. To take advantage of the Salt Lake CVB airline offer, please register no later than September 7, 2004. The $75.00 fee helps HPN offset the cost of printing, postage for mailings, and speaker reimbursement.
